It will feature the music of PGT Season 1 grand finalist and ASAP's BRB member Markki and the awesome moves of the G-Force Dance Group.

Styling Gig: ASAP 11-06-11

Went to ASAP today to style my boys (despite the fact that they have Joey with them na, LOL)

So much fun, as always, to hang out with my friends from the glitzy showbizlandia.

Sharing with you some of snapshots I was able to take in between chit-chats and goofing around, using my handy Nokia N9. :p

BOYS R BOYS (sans JM aka Angelito) Thanks Terranova for the clothes! :)

Baby JM de Guzman being prepped up before his "Angelito" prod.

Tom Rodriguez, being groomed.

Very funny Jayson Francisco. He is so adorable in person. First time to meet and hang-out with him. Sis Kiray introduced him to me.

LOYALTY AWARD!
Jayson's henna tattoo of a cross bearing the station's name: ABS-CBN. lol
He's super funny!!!

Kuya Jayson being groomed before his prod number.

Markki, looking cutesy preppy. Oh gosh, I can't tell you how much of a struggle we, particularly him, to be able to achieve a decent look for his prod with the boys. But kudos to you Markki boy for standing up for what you think is better. Good job!

My favorite boys rehearsing before their Christmas Song production, with teacher Annie. They are so cute!

Like school boys rehearsing for a school presentation. :))

So there. A lil glimpse of how I spend my time in ASAP. It is actually mostly chikahan, goofing around, eating and singing more than my actual styling for my celeb friends. :)

Hope you guys had a wonderful Sunday!

MARKKI STROEM for 2011 BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards: Best Performance by an Actor for a Featured Role (Musical)

So today, amidst the gloomy weather and lazy mood, we have received a very good news---my bestie Markki Stroem is nominated at the 2011 BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards, for Best Performance by an Actor for a Featured Role for his amazing performance as Henry from the highly acclaimed musical theater play Next to Normal.

Something to celebrate, indeed! Next to Normal was Markki's first professional play and you will not believe what things he had to go through from the auditions, the first run to their recently concluded re-run. And he was such a remarkable neophyte in the theater scene, all those who have watched him on the play could vouch for that. Let alone Ms. Lea Salonga's good words for him (Phil. Star Column) confirm to you how good he was. (Okay, I am now sounding a bit of a defensive friend here. LOL)

All I can say is, hardwork really pays off. Having people notice the quality of work you have done, is more that enough of an award. And I am sure Markki feels that way.

And now that he's nominated, let us help him get his first ever acting award!

To vote for him, please visit this link

You just need to go to the site, click on the 2011 Broadway World Philippines Awards and provide a valid e-mail address to enter the nominee page and then click away to vote.

Here's a screenshot of my iPhone when I voted a while ago.

Thank you guys!

And congratulations to Atlantis Productions, the whole cast of the play who were also nominated, and to everyone involved in NEXT TO NORMAL.

Way to go, Markki! Let's continue on bigger and better things! I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU. :)

PS. Mac has BGSW and this for Markki, I feel the ardent need of a good news before we leave for Hong Kong on Tuesday, so we can all have something to celebrate when we're there. teehee... :))

BOYS ARE BOYS: ASAP ROCKS' Newest Boy Charmers

Last Sunday, ASAP ROCKS officially launched their newest addition, a group of four boys with oozing charm and undeniable singing talent. The group consists of MARKKI STROEM, JM DE GUZMAN, ALEX CASTRO and BRYAN TERMULO, and they are called BOYS ARE BOYS aka BRB.

(thanks Markki for the pic)

These boys are very dear to my heart. All of you know that Markki is one of my best friends, he's like a brother to me already, but the three other boys are also good friends of mine: JM (we call each other BABY--- this case, makes a lot of my girl friends super jealous of me. LOL), Alex (a former classmate in FEU), and Bryan (I just met him at ASAP few months ago and he's such a cool guy and now we're also friends and BBM mates).

I was there when they first started to collaborate. I was there when they had their first production number in ASAP. I was there when they were officially made into a group (from BOYSQUAD, to HOTTHROBS to BOYSareBOYS). And I cannot afford to miss their official launch. (Well, how can I not be their when I am Markki's stylist and the group's unofficial stylist too!)

Here are some of my pics with the group on the number of times I was with them.

Van Burgos was initially part of the group during the first stage of the "experimenting" period. They were called Acoustic Cuties before.

After Van Burgos, Jem Cubil joined the group, also when it was still on the experimentation stage. Baby JM on the other hand was about to launch his solo album, on the same ASAP episode.

They love plaids and checkered. LOL

Styled Baby JM for his solo album launch at ASAP. This is when our love-team started. LOL

First time the "group" really were put together in one production.

The first OFFICIAL photo of BOYS are BOYS. They don't have the name yet though during this time. :)

AND FINALLY... THEIR OFFICIAL LAUNCH!

Baby getting prepped up.

Gwapo lang oh!!! :)

Bryan done with his grooming. FRESH!

My other baby, MARKKI vocalizing while being groomed.

SMILE!

My boys!

Oh yes, I guess I have an ounce of right calling them "MY BOYS". I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU GUYS!!!

Congratulations and keep it up!

Let us support them every sunday, at ASAP Rocks!
