PASTA FOR A BOWTIE?

If you are looking for a new way to spruce up your outfit then I suggest you try wearing one of Mass Item's (a Japanese online brand) cutesy bowtie called Farfalle.

Farfalle or "Bow Tie pasta", which also means butterflies in Italian, is designed by Micro Works and is made up of acrylic plate with metal clip at the back making it a nice bow-tie accessory for any boring outfit.

OH MIUCCIA! OH PRADA!

I stayed up late last nigh to be able to watch the live streaming of PRADA for their Menswear 2012 Collection, and as usual, it did not disappoint. Miuccia, as I would like to believe, is the ULTIMATE designer's designer. Her creations every season are always groundbreaking and always forward. She sets fashion standard like no other designer.

Anyway, here are some of the many looks I liked from the star-studded show. All I can say is that, the collection is amazeballs! I love the jacquard coats, the oversized collars, the SHOES!!!! (they are totally nuts, I love em!), the vintage-y uber cool eyewear, and the over-all fit. It was sort of reminiscent of the very chic, conservative and very sophisticated 60's and 70's.

Oh, Miuccia! You always keep me fashion dreaming... always... *sigh*

SHOE LOVIN': LOUIS VUITTON FLAT MANDALS

This has got to be the PERFECT TRAVEL FOOTWEAR for men (perhaps, some women too).

Male Sandals or Mandals are huge fashion hits especially during summer season. I personally think this one from LV has the perfect design, form and durability. 

Firstly, I love the look. It is simple, very casual yet speaks an understated luxe, and it looks very light and wearable. I love the fact that it covers the toes too (just in case you forget to have your pedi). And the major point about this footwear is that you can easily snap out the buttons so it forms just a thin flat shoe outline, you can easily slip on your bag or luggage.

It is perfect for people who loves travelling, like me. Whenever I go out of the country, I always find it painful to decide on how many shoes/footwear I should bring, considering the space on the luggage. And this one just solves the dilemma for me. 

The design also comes in black, but I am more into browns when it comes to footwear, I just personally favor  the color and I find it easier to pair with compared to black footwear. (IDK, it's just me. lol)

Don't you just love how easy, cool, sleek and comfy these mandals look? *sigh*
